St. James Bagels (“we”, “us”) runs St. James Bagels Rewards. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
- Your mobile number, when you give it to us to join St. James Bagels Rewards — at the counter, or on our rewards page.
- Your name or email, only if you choose to give them. Neither is required.
- What you buy from us, so we can work out the points you have earned.
- Ordinary website information — pages visited, rough location, device type — when you use our site.
We never ask for payment details to join St. James Bagels Rewards.
How we use it
- To run your rewards account and calculate your points.
- To text you about your points and our offers — only if you asked us to.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To understand what our customers like, so we can run a better shop.
Text messages and your mobile number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone.
We text you only if you ticked the box asking us to. If you joined without ticking it, you still earn points on every order and you will hear nothing from us by text — just ask at the counter for your balance.

Who else sees it
- Our technology provider. We use a technology provider to run our rewards program and this website on our behalf. They handle your information only to provide that service to us, and never for their own marketing.
- No one else. We do not sell your information, and we do not rent, trade or pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
- We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are a member, and a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message, or ask us.
- Leave St. James Bagels Rewards, or ask what we hold about you — and ask us to correct or delete it — using the contact details below.
Children
St. James Bagels Rewards is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version appears here with a new date.
